Hull & Yorkshire PhotographerPosted by dbrooksphoto.co.uk Tue, July 30, 2013 04:10PM
Now, this is a nice-looking place. As a Hull wedding photographer, we don't get to pick where we work, and Hull is a bit stranded at the end on the M62, but when I saw this place after speaking to Alison and Iain, I got very excited to be chosen as their photographer.
Okay, so Sandburn Hall is a golf club as its day-job, but when they open their beautiful high-ceiling, oak-beamed function room, it gets very pretty, with its lovely big windows at the end of the ceremony/reception room. Lots of light!
As a working golf-course, we weren't allowed to go trudging across the greens for the photoshoot but instead found other locations on site, such as the main paths and the woodland area heading to the lodges, where the couple were spending their first night together as husband and wife.
Here are some of the photos.
